Thank you for taking a few minutes to read my update below. I try to limit sending these out once every week or two so as to not fill up your inbox.
I’m still recovering from Canadian Music Week in Toronto. What a terrific opportunity to interact with industry heads and musicians from around the world, and to hear interviews with Slash, Burton Cummings, and Paul Rodgers. I was able to enter one of my songs into Radio Idol; we’ll see how far I get in the coming weeks.
The Toronto League Of Rock is entering week 6 of 10 with the Final Showcase coming up April 17, 2012. We had our first live performance last week to some great reviews. I’ve been asked by Guitar Picks TV if they could film our live show and the studio recording session using my original song for a documentary. Pretty exciting stuff!
On short notice, I was asked to fill the featured artist slot at tonight’s open mic at Maxwell’s Music House which will be streamed over the net.
